Wendy is a certified educator with over 30 years of tutoring experienc as a classroom teacher and tutor, bringing a rare, full-spectrum perspective to student learning. She holds both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and completed specialized training through the prestigious McCombs School of Business.
In addition to her work in K–12 education, Wendy has served as an adjunct professor and as a college application essay reader, where she evaluated and coached student essays for clarity, authenticity, and impact. This experience gives her unique insight into what colleges are truly looking for, and how students can communicate their stories effectively.
Throughout her career, Wendy has taught and mentored thousands of students, helping them improve grades, raise SAT and ACT scores, and build confidence. She has extensive experience supporting students through ARD reviews and 504 accommodations and is known for her ability to advocate for students with diverse learning needs.
What truly sets Wendy apart is her personal approach. She builds genuine relationships with students, meets them where they are, and creates customized strategies that make learning feel manageable and motivating. Families trust Wendy not only for measurable academic results, but for the care, insight, and guidance she brings to every student.
Wendy founded of a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to academic support, mentorship, and advocacy for students. Through her nonprofit work in the community, she provides educational guidance, tutoring, and resources to students, helping them build confidence and opportunity. This commitment reflects Wendy’s belief that education is not only about achievement but also about lifting others through knowledge and compassion.
